We're going to frame out some small houses. You will be tasked with designing it in the CAD lab and then building it in the shop. Here is an outline of the objectives and grading rubrics. There will be a lot of team work required to complete this project--though each will make their own design, which will then be entered into a competition to determine the one(s) which we will actually build.

We are about to finish up the corner shelf project, you now have a deadline. The next project for you to work on is one of the following. Pick your project carefully based on the time you have (you must finish this in ~ 4 classes) and your initiative to come up with a working design (since it is up to you). A bread board smaller than 8.5x11 inches (a piece of paper). Made from scrap hard wood.
A new holder for oxy-acetylene torch tips.
A new tape measure holder that holds 25' tape measures for tool crib.
A coat rack for Mr. Nystrom to be mounted on the side of his standing desk.
Box to hold scrap paper on Mr. Nystrom's desk. 1/2 and 1/4 sheets.
